Youth Pastor: Russell Mallet
Hi my name is Russell and I'm Youth Support Worker at Aldgate Baptist Church.
I am just about to finish a Bachelor of Ministry degree at Bible College of South Australia, and have applied for ordination in the Baptist Church.
My favourite pastime is being alive and living in the Adelaide Hills, enjoying my family and God's beautiful creation.
I like fixing things; working with wood, collecting old books and studying the Bible.
My favourite Opera aria is 'Swear in this hour' from Verdi's La Forsa del Destino' (the Force of Destiny). My life ambition is to 'Live deep and suck the marrow out of life,' (Thoreau) and I've found that the greatest way of doing that is to trust, obey and follow Jesus Christ. The road that God has called me to journey on has been one of incredible blessing, and I want to show my gratitude to God by sharing the goodness of His love with anyone who will listen. My greatest joy is sharing life with God's community of faith.
